I came second in the last round of Dec-O-Rate at BPS and thought I should share my entry here. The theme was Hollywood Dreams and entrants were required to make a bedroom for a celebrity. I tried to step outside of my comfort zone for this and use some objects that had been languishing in my Downloads for awhile but my fondness for urban/grunge still managed to creep in somewhat.

For the past few days I've been working on decorating a house for Molly, who I shared in my last entry. I'm horrible at building so I madeover a tiny single-bedroom house that I had downloaded awhile ago. It's terribly small and difficult to photograph, but I quite like the outcome.


The view is so ~picturesque.

A post with something other than contest pictures? I never thought the day would come. This set is about as random as you can get. Some parts are old, some parts are new. I figured maybe somebody would like these, so here they are.

Because that's all I ever do in my sims game. Eventually I will actually start playing again but my OCD-like tendencies mean I don't feel like I can play until I redownload everything and organise a new neighbourhood and so on. So until then, I simply download shit like a crazy person and enter decorating contests.

It's been awhile! The last few weeks have been pretty hectic for me. I'm officially on break right now, but the last weeks of semester were full of last minute major assignments, and me being the epic procrastinator I am, left them all to the last minute. Then I had a couple of exams to study for. Once all that was done, I went on a mini holiday interstate to Melbourne for four days. I've started getting back into simming so there's some pictures and a whole bunch of holiday rambling under the cut.

My game has kicked the bucket. My poor, overworked downloads folder finally gave up and died on me. I was about to get started on a BPS decorating contest and I got to the neighbourhood which was majorly glitched out. Everything was black and featured many unusual shapes and pleasant flashing menus.

I haven't opened the game for about a week and in that time I've added a lot of cc to my disastrously unorganised downloads folder, so narrowing down all the new stuff would be, well, pretty much impossible.

Anybody know a good way to sort out a glitchy downloads folder? I have way too much stuff that I've accumulated over many years at many, many sites. I really don't want to lose any of it. :(

The stupid thing is I've wanted to organise my cc for awhile now, convinced that there was bound to be an issue soon enough since I have 10bg of crap, a number that is constantly growing. Turns out I was right!

Haven't posted in awhile. I haven't exactly been busy lately, but I seem to have no time. It dawned on me that my holidays are over in about a month and I've pretty much wasted my time. Isn't that always the case?

As mentioned in my last entry, I made some stuff as a little holiday gift to go with Beth who was requested a few times. I had meant to post this before Christmas but we were pretty busy with decorating and cleaning the house, and then Christmas Eve/Day itself was entirely computer free, naturally.

Haven't done much at all this week. I'm sick :(
I've felt very drained and over the past few days any movement has resulted in a pounding headache. Add to that the stress of a mix up with my second year uni enrolment and I'm not a happy camper.

I'm slugging along getting my Secret Santa gift completed. I keep meaning to start doing my previews and working out my uploads, but then I felt like crap. Also, I noticed some of my recent recolours looked less than perfect in-game, so I need to fix those somehow.

There's no rhyme or reason to the gifts either, just a whole bunch of random stuff. I was planning to try and put a room together so that it had some semblance of unity but at this point I'm going to go HERE HAVE SOME STUFF. HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

I've got a problem with Bodyshop at the moment which really, really sucks. I can't click on the glasses section for females, it crashes every time. Being that my Downloads folder consists of 20K+ files all in one big mess, no chance of working out what's causing it. Luckily it hasn't caused too much hassle but I did lose a really great sim I was working on.

Speaking of sims, I made one yesterday and did a mini shoot when I should have been taking previews. Whatever.
